Our most popular program with teens is “The Natural Speaker in You” conducted by our guest public speaking coach, Janet Bauer. During a two hour session about 8 boys or girls learn how to speak publicly to a group and receive feedback from their peers and adult volunteers. This program is always fulfilling to volunteers. Your job would be to provide ONLY POSITIVE feedback to those speaking. We need three adults per session and we particularly need men.
If you are interested Janet will be conducting these sessions on April 16, 17, and possibly 18 from 3:30 to 5:30 in our Teen Center at Carver Jr. High School.

Our first photography exhibit, hosted by Hub-Bub at The Showroom, will be this Tuesday, March 18th from 5-7 p.m. for the opening reception. Our Club members will be there early. The show goes from March 17-21. You will be impressed… Come by some shots for your office…
Tennis in the Spring – April 23-27 Country Club of Spartanburg
The Country Club of Spartanburg’s Pro Tennis Invitational is coming up. The tournament benefits Boys & Girls Clubs again this year. A strong social calendar is attached. Five days of fun, food, drink, and great men’s professional tennis. Patron passes are $350 per couple. You can pay with credit card on our website – www.bgcusc.org just note that you’re paying for the tennis tournament. The Family Pass is $500, you know who you are... For a grand you get passes for four adults, kids included, and a parking pass.
