This years Birthday Bash is going to better than ever. Shinedown, Buckcherry, Saving Able, Avenged 7Fold. September 30th. Clemson’s Little John Coliseum. Last year was completely amazing with Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Seether, and Red. I thought back to the first Birthday Bash with Jackyl. Honestly, I remember talking to Zakk Tyler and being proud that we stayed on the air for a year. The second Birthday Bash, I sat on top of the Planet Van. I could not believe the crowd. Carrie Martin and I said, “What are we going to do next year?” Creed was just something very memorable. I remember looking at a sea of people. That show was only the beginning. Nickelback played Birthday Bash right after 911.

13 people were injured in Pamplona Spain Running with the Bulls. The report said that no one was gored. I saw an American in the news clip. This spawned the topic of “What was dumbest thing you did on vacation.?” I was quite entertained by the response.
One P1 said that she got stung by a jelly fish and the guy she had a crush on peed on her.
P1 Maximillion said, “I got lost in the woods and fell of a cliff in NC.”
P1 Metal Star paintballed a car.
P1Hooterlover got busted with a fake id.
P1Megan lost all of her money in Las Vegas.
P1Monkey Nugget said,” I was car surfing doing about 80mp with me on top of the roof.”
One P1 got pregnant with twins on vacation.
My favorite was this text. ” My brother and I were in the Dominican Republic on the beach. My brother drank so much that he fell asleep in the surf. His $100. Dr.Martin Sandals floated off of his feet.
Quite a few of you got arrested.
Many of you got engaged or married.
My dumb story. I got in a jet ski accident and broke my leg.
Please share your thoughts or vacation stories.

Johnny Knoxville I am not! I am NO Stevo. Nor, am I of the caliber of Joey Diapers. I tried to blow myself up with firecrackers Sunday. I admit I can not pull off many stunts…. Taking the advice of my neighbors and my fiance, I opted for sparklers. I put together a baton-fire act. It was great in my backyard. Unfortunately, my stunt sucked today. I could not make it work because the sparklers would not light. Cest la vie!!

I recently had the opportunity to visit one of the oldest homes in Spartanburg. I was invited to investigate the Duncan Dupre’ House. The Spartanburg Historical Society sought after P.S.I. to investigate this fine home for paranormal activivty. P.S.I. stands for Paranormal Scene Investigators. P.S.I. a nonprofit organization that scientifically observes a dwelling for any paranormal activity. Joe and his crew set up in the house. there was a camera in every room. There was a lot of recording equipment that could pick up the slightest movement or sound. Before going into the house, I was shown pictures of a shadow like figure that apears to people from the upstairs bedroom. Also, I was told that many people have reported a small boy that would apear and climb on the fence in front of the house. Both of these images have been seen from different people passing by the house at different hours. With this knowledge, I was hoping to see the boy or the man figure in the house. The first time I went into the house I got to look around. I notice the woodwork and the high ceilings. The house is a historical jewel. In almost every room stood a magnificent fireplace. It is truely amazing how this house has withstood time and the elements. The house was a Queen Anne style home. It was probably an amazing work of architecture in the late 1800s. The only thing that was frightening was the fact that we did not have any air conditioning. The place really looked like a movie set. We were not sure what we would find lurking in the shadows. The cameras were powered by a source outside. The gates were locked and we in for the night. The teams were formed and ready to begin the investigation. The first team went into the house. They took the downstairs. The group went room to room, moving slowly while asking questions outloud. The temperature was recorded and so was the sound. One person had a video recorder. Members or the teams carried digital sound recorders and other ivestigative equipment. This group stayed 15 minutes inside, while everything was monitored by the other people working the monitors on the front porch of the house. It was then my groups turn. We took the upstairs. We slowly walked up the stair case past the broken once brilliant stained glass windows. We slowly ascended into the upper part of the house. I noticed that the wallpaper was the original victorian paper. In one of the bedrooms and the nursery. The nursery was the middle room. The huge window was broken and the torn wall paper had wagon wheels on it. The house was dusty. It was obvious that no one had lived here for quite some time. Our time was up. The last group went into the house. As this group made their way through the house we heard loud crashes from inside. Honestly, I was glad I was on the porch.
We took a break and took a midnight stroll through the adjoining cemetery. It is the one oldest graveyards in Spartanburg County. The head stones dated back to the Civil War. I felt a lot sadness about this place. Especially, when you see a gravesite that has been vandalized. Broken head stones always give you an eerie feeling. You Can’t blame the departed for being a little upset.
It was time to go back into the house. Each person picked a room. I picked the nursery, hoping to contact the little boy. I wanted to go back to the upstairs. I sat on the wooden floor. The room was dark and quiet. No furniture….the only light beamed in from the broken window. I sat and asked questions into a recorder. The door moved. I asked, was that you. The door sqeaked again! There was no breeze. I thought that maybe the old dusty house was settling. I went through the door and into the next bedroom. I felt kind of sick at my stomach. It didn’t see anyone. Shortly after, my time was up and I had to go back downstairs.
The final group went back into the house to verbally taunt the sprirts. I can’t wait for the results of this investigation. I would really love to do it again.

Tuesday, General Motors announced that they will be closing four truck and suv plants. The company is considering dropping the Hummer Line. People can’t afford to put gas in these large vehicles.
I mentioned on the air that is cost me $50.00 to fill up a Honda Accord. Gas prices are getting out of hand!. This subject prompted P1’s to call in-or send a text message to express thier opinions. Here is what you said: P1 Elite Nate says it costs him $840.40 a month in gas. (That is the two of his truck payments.) P1 Zenny says that she is going to get a horse and buggy. P1Fed Ex Guy says don’t get a diesel truck because diesel prices or very high. Its costs him $350.00 to fill up, P1 that girl says that her Ford Focus costs her $43.00 to fill up. P1 Mufiin man says he gets sick everytime he fills up his tank, because it costs him $500.00. P1 300zx says to drive a Honda or crotch rocket. It costs him $30.00. P1 Palmetto girl says she pays $35.00 to fil up a Cavilier.
Inconclusion, P1 SnakeBoy called in to say that he heard gas is in now $11.00 a gallon in London. Our Government needs to step up and do something. What if this is they way it is going to be for the rest of our lives. Could gas prices get any higher?

I got a phone call from a listener who was having a bad day due to a passive aggressive coworker. My conversation with P1 Legal Lady. P1 Legal Lady has a problem with someone who is leaving notes in her office. Every office has a person that will leave the public-bad behavior notes. P1 Legal Lady says her office noter has gone off the deep end. The office has named this person the “mad noter”. Notes are left in the breakroom and bathroom. This person is also never happy if time is left on the microwave after use. This person also does too much cleaning up for other coworkers. The mystery person says he or she is always the one who makes a new pot coffee. The mad noter is also leaving messages in the bathroom. Wet sinks and toilet paper violations have been noted.
Today a note was directed towards P1 Legal Lady about the condition of her desk. Last week, the noter left a nasty messages about certain empoyees who waste company time by smoking or talking. The notes are typed and hard to trace. This person is afraid to reveal their identity. The angry messages show a lot of passive aggressive behavior. I felt bad for this P1. I think in most cases it is better to confront someone about an issue rather than leave a nasty message, email, or note. If you are a passive poster please confront your victim personally. Finally, if you are the person who receives the notes, please clean up your desk your mother doesn’t work here!

The Rise Guys Morning Show was quite an experience this morning. Normally, most waxing occurs in a private room with the door the closed. It is an uncomfortable situation for everyone who is involved in the process. Luckily for Skip, the waxer was fast. Michalina did a great job, meaning less discomfort during the pulling process. I felt as if I was at the Gynecoligist with Skip. Especially, by the way he was lying on the table. It was hard to look at him in the birthing position.. You really felt bad for Skip as he entered the world of femininity. We tried to tell him that it wasn’t going to be pleasant. All of the female P1s empathathized with him with every cry he made. I know the video is going to be hilarious.
