Manifested from the true grit that is the American working class comes a new shape of punk rock. As a whole they are known as Pattern in the System . Dissected into its respective parts are Brad Wooten (guitar/vocals), Walter Bentley(bass/vocals), and Bryan Aquino (drums). Hailing from Clinton, SC Pattern in the System is currently in the process of revolutionizing the sound and heart of punk.
Wooten's driving guitar riffs are all too often shattered by his alien chord progressions and harmonized timing on his custom cannabalized GIBANEZ. Accompanying his hands are his gutteral screams which ensue riotous behavior by anything with a higher authority.
Bentley's class of bass playing can only be trumped by his stage “presence.” An art form that is comparable to The Headless Horseman riding his stead, only “running around” instead of the aforementioned riding of stead, and opposed to a horseman of any kind, it is a chicken.
Aquino's drum beating is just that, an unadulterated, rancid, self indulgent beating of the drums. With a knack for broken drumsticks, and running in place while sitting, Aquino keeps the force driving throughout a live performance.
Pattern in the System has numerous E.P.s circulating through the southeast, and a full length album “up 'til now” (2008) currently being released independently. They are accustomed to all recording outlets from live to basement, to studio, and have kept fans ears open for their latest releases.
Touring has taken Pattern in the System throughout the southeast on independent funds and the heat of the sun, playing historic underground venues such as Doozer's Pub (Jacksonville, FLA) and Ground Zero (Spartanburg, SC). Pattern in the system is a touring band that burns the imagery of “real” into ones retina.
